My Bird List

Below you will find my life bird list. It includes birds from Colorado (my home), Australia (especially Tasmania), Newfoundland (where I live now) and other places I’ve been lucky enough to see. It is by no means complete and I’m adding to it constantly so feel free to come back and have a look from time to time. I’d love to know what you think about the birds on my list and I’d love to know what birds are on yours!

I included wild birds and birds viewed in captivity (*within wildlife refuges and reserves; zoos NOT included). I did not include deceased birds that I have prepared as museum specimens.

Nomenclature and order follow HBW Alive. Links to relevant blog posts are listed after bird species.
